The Mangia Pizza experience was founded by Steve Fenerjian in 2003 with the opening of our first restaurant in Brookline, MA. The secret to our success is our special whole wheat pizza dough. Steve was able to produce whole wheat flour milled to his exacting specifications. The result is a silky whole wheat pizza crust that our patrons describe as “heavenly”.
Two things differentiate Manga Pizza from the rest of the pack.
The first is our crust. Because of our attention to the flour, our crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Most popular chains use less expensive flour that is bleached and brominated. Great if you are looking to preserve your pizza for two months but not if you want the best tasting pizza hot out of the oven.
The second is our sauce and toppings. We use all natural ingredients, many organic and locally grown. Our sauce is all tomatoes, with no artificial ingredients and no high-fructose corn syrup or other sweeteners. We use only the finest quality cheese that will always enhance but never overwhelm the taste of our pizzas. We use only farm fresh vegetables and the highest quality meats to top our pizza creations.
Beginning with Steve, the Mangia Pizza team shares a consuming passion for developing a growing collection of red and white signature pizzas, calzones and other Italian specialties. We also offer a great selection of appetizing salads.
